About the city: Cape Town is the second largest city in South Africa and is the capital of the Western Cape Province, as well as being the legislative capital of South Africa, Cape Town holds the parliament although the capital of South Africa is Pretoria. Cape Town is situated at the base of Table Mountains which is surrounded by both the Atlantic and Indian Ocean. Cape Town is a place which has everything from beautiful mountains and great beaches to scenic mountain ranges and delicious wine routes. Walk around Green market square or through the squirrel filled gardens by the SA Cultural History Museum just of the main Adderley Street. The esplanade in the shadows of the City Hall serves as a stage for political rallies as well as a market selling anything from food to clothes. The Castle of Good Hope overlooks the esplanade and it is the oldest colonial building in South Africa. One of the oldest residential areas of Cape Town, the Bo Kaap is a unique neighborhood with a strong cultural and social history. Visit Nobel Square and see a tribute to four of South Africa's Nobel Peace Prize winners. Cape Town has some of the finest beaches in Africa, all of which have the clean white beach sand particular to the Cape. About the city: Hermanus is a town on the southern coast of the Western Cape province of South Africa. It is famous for southern right whale watching during the southern winter and spring and is a popular retirement town. The whales can be seen from the cliffs in the town centre as early as June and usually depart in early December. They were once hunted in the nearby town of Betty's Bay, but are now protected to ensure the survival of the species. The Old Harbour Museum contains several exhibitions that explain the whaling industry, and the De Wetshuis Photo Museum houses an exhibition of photos by T D Ravenscroft that depicts the history of Hermanus. The Whale Museum houses a skeleton of a whale and shows an audio-visual presentation of whales and dolphins twice daily.

DAY 02: Half day City tour with Table Mountain

Breakfast will be served at the hotel 10h00 - Depart in a Private half day Cape Town city Tour, Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain (Table Mountain is weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Continue through the historic Malay Quarter, past the South African Museum, with its famed Bushmen exhibits, the Castle and other interesting sights.


Day 03: Full day Cape Peninsula Tour - Seal Islands | Boulders Beach| Funicular| Chapmans Peak on a private basis

09h00 - Depart on a Full day Tour of Cape Point; We flank the cold Atlantic Ocean en route to Hout Bay. Once a fishing community now one of the most popular residential areas, the harbor still has a charm of days gone by. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to "Seal Island @ 10h45" or for the not so adventurous the fish market "Mariners Wharf" is a must. We now continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony, which has become well established, at Boulders beach near Simonstown.

Afternoon travel onwards until we reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe”. And rightly so, it must be the highlight of any visit to the Mother City, if not South Africa. Our last stop of the day is at The Flying Dutchman, known as the Funicular Ride


Day 4: Day Free for Leisure

Optional sky diving Skydiving is the one item that features on almost every bucket list. And skydiving specifically in Cape Town is without a doubt one of the most spectacular settings in the world with views of Table Mountain - one of the 7 wonders of nature, Table Bay with beautiful blue water and even Robben Island which is the famous prison where Nelson Mandela spent many years.

For the evening the best place is V&A Waterfront a tourist showpiece—a place where crowds gather to eat, drink, shop, socialize and admire breathtaking views of Table Mountain. There are a hundred ways to spend your time at the V&A Waterfront, in the city’s top-rated restaurants and sightseeing attractions.


Day 05: Cape Town to Hermanus

Pick up your self-drive vehicle – Drive time from Cape Town to Hermanus. Arrive at your hotel and check-in Day free at leisure


Day 06: Hermanus

Early morning Depart on the self-drive car to the driving point and maximize your chances of seeing whales with this boat tour from Hermanus. Learn about the magnificent mammals from a whale specialist as you head out onto the water. Depending on the time of year keep an eye out for humpback, Bryde's, and southern right whales, as well as dolphins and seals. Evening free for leisure ( optional Fick’s pool )


Day 07: Hermanus to Garden Route

After breakfast checkout from the hotel and depart for the Garden route on Self-drive

Day 08 : Garden Route

09h00 – Depart on a self-drive transfer to in an Oudtshoorn tour is a town in the Western Cape Province in South Africa. With 80,336 inhabitants it is the largest town in the Little Karoo region. The town is home to the world's largest Ostrich population with a number of specialized ostrich breeding farms such as the Safari Show Farm.

11h30 - Cango Caves – Klein Karoo’s oldest and most popular attraction…. One of the world’s natural wonders.

13h00 - Visit the Ostrich Farm – the ultimate “ostrich experience” with thousands of ostriches to view from incubation stage to full-grown adults that visitors can ride. The farm has an excellent restaurant specializing in South African Cuisine, especially ostrich meat. It also boasts a curio shop including an excellent range of ostrich products.

15h00 - Cango Wildlife Ranch – here you will have the opportunity to view some of the animal species that inhabited the Karoo Region in the early days


Day 09: Garden tour to Cape town

Depart on a road transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight back home! Drop your self-drive vehicle.
