Phenomenal overlapping of Nature and a photographer’s dream and paradise, I made Yosemite National park is a must visit area in California. Hiking, Rappeling, Rock climbing etc are some of the adventure sports that would add more to your adrenaline rush.
Some Facts about Yosemite National Park
Best time to visit is in spring or fall
Showers are only available in Yosemite Valley at Half Dome Village (formerly Curry Village) and Housekeeping Camp.
1 Start with Yosemite valley, and hike around Yosemite Falls( Tallest Waterfall in North America) at 2425 ft. And then hike to Nevada falls though you can choose to opt out of that one( it all depends on time you are left with). Then another Hike to mirror lake.
2 The next day, drive to glacier point, which is 3214 feet, and a really adventurous drive. Head to Tunnel point from where you can see major sites like El Capitan, Half Dome, Sentinel Dome, Cathedral Rocks and Bridalveil falls. Head to Mariposa Grove to walk among hundreds of giant sequoias. Here you will get to see the Fallen Monarch, the grizzly giant and the California tunnel tree. If you have time, drive the scenic Tioga road and visit the Tuolumne Meadows.
