Lower Tatra to Kosice

Day 3 Of Slovakia Tour starts with drive to Trencin in the lower Tatra and visit the museum in the castle. You continue into agricultural center of Slovakia and visit a sheep farm Ovis. Family Farm Ovisfarma sro manages 219 hectares of agricultural land in the cadastral area of Udič, in the beautiful surroundings of Strážovské vrchy. The main activity of agricultural primary production is the breeding of sheep's breeds of cigarettes. Sheep are dairy-milking. Dairy milk is processed in a small dairy, which is adapted to EU standards. We sell sheep's milk products from spring to autumn in a store that is directly at the chalet. Our hut is located at the end of the village of Udic in the Marikova valley. From autumn to spring, when sheep are preparing to mow and do not, we buy cow's milk, from which we mainly produce hand-drawn raw yarns and raw cakes, which we also send on delivery. We can offer you traditional sheep's production: fresh sheep cheese, smoked cheese, pickled cheese, steamed cheese, herb cheese, sheep's yarns, sheep's nods, yoghurt, bryndza, sheep's yoghurt, raw bowls, We know and love the wide-ranging cakes that we do on different occasions. Our cake has become the winner of the Most Beautiful Cheese Crusade in the framework of the All-Slovak Shepherd Festival. For our products, we have won many different awards at regional and national competitions as well as the Quality Label. Overnight at Doubletree by Hilton Kosice
Day 4

Kosice and Tokaj

Breakfast at your Hotel. Citywalk in Kosice where you will visit the St. Elisabeth dome and spare time for shopping. In the afternoon drive into the Tokaj region for a wine tasting. The Tokaj wine is rightly referred to as the King of wines and the wine of Kings because in the past it was served in all royal tables in Europe. The gateway of Tokaj in Slovakia is the town of Trebišov. Currently The Tokaj Wine Route with the centres in Malá Tŕňa and Veľká Tŕňa offers ten kinds of wine (among them the most famous is the three to six “barrelled” one called Tokajský výber - "Tokaj selection"), won many awards even outside Slovakia. The rarity of this wine road is the medieval Tokaj wine cellars carved into the volcanic, so-called tufa rock. The cellars date back from the Turkish wars and to some extent, they were built as a refuge from marauding troops. Some cellars are carved to a depth of 8 - 16 meters. The most visited wine cellars are located in the villages of Malá Tŕňa, Veľká Tŕňa and Viničky, where besides tasting quality wine you can enjoy also the local gastronomic specialties. Overnight at Penzion Zlata Putna.
