A warm welcome at Bagdogra Airport and board your vehicle for transfer to Gangtok “The Land of Monasteries”. Enroute enjoy the splendid view of Mountains and Valleys, take short breaks for Selfies and Tea & Snacks from local shops. Upon arrival at Gangtok check into your hotel.

DAY 02:  Friday, 09 June 2023

GANGTOK → LOCAL CITY TOUR [Approximate timing 9.30 AM – 4.30 PM]

After breakfast at the hotel, set-out on a local city tour of Gangtok, visiting TASHI VIEW POINT (it offers a sweeping view of Kanchenjunga snow peaks), BANJHAKRI FALLS AND ENERGY PARK (a recreation centre and tourist attraction), ENCHEY MONASTERY, DO DRUL CHORTEN (a giant stupa built in 1946 by a teacher of the 14th Dalai Lama, Trulshik Rinpoche), NAMGYAL INSTITUTE OF TIBETOLOGY (a Tibet museum named after the 11th Chogyal of Sikkim, Sir Tashi Namgyal), GANGTOK ROPEWAY (Cable car linking Deorali Bazaar with Tashiling Secretariat, offering views of mountains & the city), HIMALAYAN ZOOLOGICAL PARK (Sprawling zoological park with select animals, a watchtower & views of Mount Khangchendzonga). Drive back to the hotel.

DAY 03: Saturday, 10 June 2023

BORDER EXCURSION TRIP [Approximate Timing 08.00 AM – 04.00 PM]

After breakfast at the hotel, set-out on a visit to TSOMGO LAKE (Alt:12400ft, also known as Changu Lake, is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district, some 40 kilometres from Gangtok). Later proceed to the famous NATHU-LA PASS (Optional & Extra cost Rs.5000/- per vehicle) (Closed on Monday) (Alt: 14450ft, one of the highest motorable roads in the world. This pass in the Himalayan Peaks co-joins Sikkim and China). Last but not the least visit BABA HARBHAJAN SINGH MEMORIAL (Alt:13200ft, memorial honoring Indian army soldier, a folk hero and saint Baba Harbhajan Singh). Drive back to the hotel.

1. No Extra cost for NATHULA PASS

2. The above is a military-restricted area and requires interline permits to visit. Please provide us with your valid documents at the time of confirming the tour (Voter ID Card / Driving Licence / Passport).

3. Trip to Nathu-la Pass in particular cannot be Guaranteed. We can apply for the permits 24 Hrs prior to the date. The permits are issued on the very day of the journey.

4. Nathu-la Pass remains closed on Mondays. Please plan accordingly.

5. If the trip is non-operational due to adverse weather conditions or any military regulation, we shall provide an alternate tour or make the refund of Rs.5000/-.

 

DAY 04: Sunday, 11 June 2023

GANGTOK → NAMCHI [Distance 80 Kms: Drive Time 3 Hrs] → RAVANGLA [Distance 30 Kms: Drive Time 1 ½ Hrs] → PELLING [Distance 50 kms: Drive Time 2 ½ Hrs] 

After breakfast at the hotel, set-out to visit NAMCHI VILLAGE (No Extra cost of vehicle including visit to Ravangla), visit the popular attractions SIDDHESVARA DHAM (features 26 ½ Mts high statue of Lord Shiva along with the replicas of 12 Jyotirlingas and Chardham), SAMDRUPTSE HILLS (the wish fulfilling hill, ornamented with a giant statue of Guru Padmasambhava, the patron saint of Sikkim) and SAI MANDIR (aesthetically designed two storied building with modern architecture and a statue of Shirdi Sai Baba). Later proceed to RAVANGLA and visit the famous BUDDHA PARK (also known as Tathagata Tsal, and features a 130-foot-high (40 m) statue of Gautama Buddha). Later take the drive to PELLING “a Serene Hideout”. Upon arrival at Pelling Check-in to your hotel.

DAY 05: Monday, 12 June 2023

PELLING → SIGHTSEEING WITH SKYWALK [Approximate timing 8.30 AM – 2.00 PM] DARJEELING [Approximate Distance 135 kms Drive Time 5 Hrs]

After breakfast at the hotel, set-out on a local city tour of Pelling, visit KANCHENDZONGA FALLS (offers a blend of scenic beauty with the waterfalls on mountains), KHECHEOPALRI LAKE (the lake is sacred for both Buddhists and Hindus, and is believed to be a wish fulfilling lake), PEMAYANTSE MONASTERY (Planned, designed and founded by Lama Lhatsun Chempo in 1647, it is one of the oldest and premier monasteries of Sikkim), RABDENTSE RUINS (an archeological site that tells Sikkim’s story of glory, the second capital of Sikkim, established by the Chogyal II. the palace and the monastery complex was destroyed and turned into ruins), CHENREZIG STATUE & SKYWALK (The complex houses a 137 ft tall statue of the bodhisattva Chenrezig, the tallest Chenrezig statue in the world. The place is also the location of India's first glass skywalk), RIMBI WATERFALLS and DARAP VALLEY. Post lunch proceed to DARJEELING “The Queen of Hills”. Upon arrival at Darjeeling Check-in to your hotel. After a short rest one can walk down to THE MALL, the most happening hub in Darjeeling and also visit MAHAKAL TEMPLE (Walking tour).

DAY 06: Tuesday, 13 June 2023

DARJEELING → CITY TOUR [Approximate timing 4.30 AM – 7.30 AM | 10.00 AM – 4.00 AM] 

Early morning by 4 AM, get ready and set-out on a visit to TIGER HILLS (for the spectacular Sunrise View from Mt, Kanchenjunga), GHOOM MONASTERY (Also referred to as Yiga Choeling Monastery, houses a 15-foot high Maitreya Buddha statue that captivates the surroundings with its aura), BATASIA LOOP & WAR MEMORIAL (for spectacular view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and watch the remarkable engineering marvel of Darjeeling Himalayan Railways) . Return back to the hotel for Breakfast. Later set out on a local city tour of Darjeeling exploring PADMAJA NAIDU HIMALAYAN ZOOLOGICAL PARK (Closed on Thursday) (the only specialized zoo in India recognised for its conservation breeding of Red Panda, Snow Leopard, Tibetan Wolf, and other highly endangered animal species of easter Himalayas), HIMALAYAN MOUNTAINEERING INSTITUTE (Closed on Thursday) (Being the premier mountaineering institute of South-east Asia, HMI is also referred to as the Mecca of Indian Mountaineering), TIBETAN REFUGEE SELF HELP CENTRE (Closed on Sunday) (is a rehabilitation centre for the Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region), TENZING & GOMBU ROCK (a gigantic natural rock named after Tenzing Norgay, the man who created history by climbing the Everest first time), HAPPY VALLEY TEA ESTATE (Outer View) (caresses the misty hills of Darjeeling, overlooking the fertile Himalayan foothills), JAPANESE PEACE PAGODA (showcases four avatars of Buddha. This is the tallest free-standing structure in Darjeeling), DARJEELING HIMALAYAN RAILWAYS (Toy Train Joy Ride – tickets to be done online in advance by the guest directly). Drive back to the hotel.
